July 3
Red, White, and Boom! Independence Day Celebration
London's annual Independence Day celebration kicks off at 4 PM with a petting zoo, train rides, food trucks, inflatables, and games for the kids. The DAV presents the colors, and the evening culminates in a spectacular fireworks display over the fairgrounds. Free admission.
July 18
Southeast Kentucky Fair — Pageant Night
The fair festivities begin with the Southeast Kentucky Fair pageants. Contestants compete in multiple age divisions for the title of Fair Queen, with judging on poise, interview, and community involvement. Winners serve as ambassadors throughout fair week.
July 21
Southeast Kentucky Fair — Opening Night: KOI Motorcycle Racing
The Southeast Kentucky Fair officially opens with KOI Motorcycle Racing on the grandstand track. The first fair held locally since before the 2020 pandemic, this is a historic opening night. Carnival rides by Paradise Amusements open at 4 PM.
July 22
Southeast Kentucky Fair — Kentucky Just Us in Concert
Award-winning bluegrass group Kentucky Just Us takes the grandstand stage for a can't-miss Wednesday night performance. The concert is free with fair admission. Lawn chairs and blankets welcome — arrive early for the best spots.
July 23
Southeast Kentucky Fair — Livestock & Exhibit Day
4-H and FFA competitors take center stage with livestock shows throughout the day. The Exhibit Tent features area Homemakers competing for prizes with their finest crafts, baked goods, canned goods, and handiwork. A celebration of the region's agricultural heritage.
July 24
Southeast Kentucky Fair — Tractor Pulls & Concert
The Kentucky Tractor Pullers Association (KTA) brings the thunder with modified and stock class tractor pulls on the grandstand track. The evening wraps with a live concert under the pavilion. Lawn mower races round out the afternoon's racing action.
July 25
Southeast Kentucky Fair — Closing Night: Paint Creek
Fan-favorite Paint Creek closes out the Southeast Kentucky Fair with a Saturday night concert. KTA tractor pulls run throughout the afternoon, and the final night of carnival rides wraps up at 11 PM. The biggest night of fair week — arrive early.
